We define social purpose real estate as spaces that serve the common good. From a social justice angle, real estate is an effective tool for shifting power. Buildings and spaces that are owned and operated by mission-based organizations and investors for the purpose of community benefit, like libraries, parks, affordable housing, nonprofit centers, and more, are examples of social purpose real estate.
Becoming a SPRE Summit sponsor is an outstanding opportunity for your organization to show its commitment to community-led strategies that build thriving and resilient places. There are several levels of sponsorship available to help ensure SPRE leaders can come connect and learn, so they can ultimately bring the tools back to positively impact their local communities.
The interdisciplinary SPRE Summit Working Group is comprised of organizations from across the social purpose real estate sector that have come together with The Nonprofit Centers Network to define a vision forward for community real estate, development, and investment through the design and implementation of the SPRE Summit.
