It’s Time to Register for Sharing Innovation 2019!

It’s Time to Register for Sharing Innovation 2019!

It’s time to register for the third annual Sharing Innovation event! (Don’t miss the best registration rate! Early bird discounted registration ends Friday, August 30th).

We are ecstatic at NCN about this gathering. It has continued to grow each year, and we are even more impressed with the groundbreaking collaboration happening all over the US and Canada. Every day, more groups are creating shared spaces and shared services to enable organizations to realign how they use resources to tackle the biggest challenges in their communities. No matter the size or scope of your organization, our speakers will have relevant, actionable advice and creative strategies for sharing.

Sharing Innovation is a different type of NCN gathering. It’s a time to amplify ideas, dream big, and discuss what’s possible. You will hear from our network about the increased efficiency and effectiveness folks are experiencing from sharing space and other resources. We sought out speakers who are using infrastructure to achieve impact, and we wanted to hear how they are shaping their communities through collaborative, place-based initiatives.

NCN staff and committee members spent hours reviewing presentation proposals and narrowed it down to 8 TED-style presentations. Our major themes this year are…

  • Breaking service barriers with innovative land use
  • Nonprofit centers addressing the unique challenges of rural areas
  • Cutting-edge theme center collaborations
  • Proven shared space strategies for increasing equity in communities
  • And more!

If you’re able to make the trip to Denver, you not only get multiple networking opportunities, but we’ve added an additional session (not included in Sharing Innovation registration) called: Built to Collaborate: Facilitating Connections in Shared Space. And, back by popular demand, we will have a half-day of guided tours of nonprofit centers in town. Denver has a thriving community of shared spaces and NCN is proud to call it “home” for our headquarters. Tours will include The Commons on Champa, Posner Center for International Development, and The Alliance Center – just to name a few!

This two-day event will bring together a unique group of thought leaders in person, while the ideas are livestreamed to our wider audience. If you can’t make the trip, we have other great options. Those of you on our livestream won’t be left out of the conversation. We’re going to include unique interactive opportunities just for online attendees. There is also the NEW virtual watch party option you can check out here!

As we suggest each year, start thinking about what “innovation” means to you. At NCN, we believe sharing innovation through real-world experiences and ideas is one of the best ways to work better. We also think the nonprofit sector will improve if we work differently – together.

See you in October!
