Sharing Innovation: It’s Happening!

October 2, 2017 by Chelsea Donohoe0

First, you need to register soon! Early bird discounted registration ends Friday, October 6th. Also, our initial ten registrants (livestream or in-person) get free access to our Virtual Boot Camp, and there are only a few spots left.

Second, we’re super pumped at NCN about this event. It’s honestly like no event we’ve ever done before. You’ll get to hear about groundbreaking collaboration happening all over the country. No matter the size or scope of your organization, our speakers will have actionable advice and creative strategies you can tailor to meet your goals and needs. You might just get so excited you come up with your own ingenious idea…

So, what is actually going to happen at Sharing Innovation, you ask? Basically, it is a one-day event filled with TED-style presentations from some of the most innovative minds in nonprofit shared space. NCN leaders spent hours reviewing presentation proposals and narrowed it down to 8 presentations. They’re the best of the best, so prepare yourself for some major inspiration. If you’re able to make the trip to Denver, you not only get to network with attendees, have facetime with speakers, and breathe in the fresh mountain air, but we’ve also arranged self-guided tours of nonprofit centers around town. Denver has a thriving community of shared spaces and NCN is proud to call it “home” for our headquarters. For example, Rose Andom Center, Posner Center for International Development, and Village Exchange Center are all doing some incredible stuff.

If you can’t make the trip, (Who would want to visit the city voted #2 Best Place to Live by U.S. News & World Report, anyway?) don’t worry. Those of you on our livestream won’t be left out of the conversation. We’re going to include a unique Q&A opportunity just for online attendees.

You’ll learn about…

  • Tech tools to build stronger cross-sector networks
  • Collaborative software for nonprofits
  • Overcoming competition to build transformational nonprofit partnerships
  • Cutting-edge nonprofit real estate strategies
  • Regional approaches to social purpose real estate
  • Applying biomimicry principles to shared space
  • And more!

So, start thinking about what “innovation” means to you. At NCN, we believe sharing innovation through real-world experiences and ideas is one of the best ways to bring about progress. We also think the nonprofit sector will improve if we work differently – together. Who better to start the revolution than our community of exceptional social changemakers?

See you in November!
