Today, nonprofits are becoming ever more important as demands for services are increasing and budgets in all sectors are dwindling. Some local and federal governments in the United States and Canada are employing the strategy of co-locating nonprofits under one roof in green nonprofit centers, where organizations can gain stability, save money in rent, and collaborate on shared back office services and programs.
