What do you do if you can’t afford to rent office space for your nonprofit? Record numbers of nonprofits in the Bay Area must decide whether to keep their office space in San Francisco, move further into Oakland or the suburbs, or close their doors. But there is another way.

The way we work is changing. Nonprofits can share facilities with other mission-driven organizations to maximize efficiencies, reduce costs, and realize new ways to collaborate with others. Interested in learning more? The Nonprofit Centers Network has partnered with the Northern California Grantmakers and the Northern California Community Loan Fund to bring a series of our highly rated trainings to the Bay Area.

Nonprofit Centers Boot Camp on February 8th will teach you all the basic building blocks to lead the creation of a mission-driven shared space. From finding the building and the partners to crafting a sustainable business model this one day workshop will embolden you to take the leap into shared space!

What if you’re already sharing space with like-minded partners and you want to take things to the next level? Join us for Energize: High Impact Shared Spaces on February 9th. In this full-day workshop, we will focus on managing costs, maximizing revenue streams, and creating a culture of collaboration in your space.  Energize SOLD OUT the last time it was offered in 2016, so reserve your spot today.

If you’re not quite sure if sharing space is the right option for your organization right now, we are partnering with the Northern California Community Loan Fund to host Real Estate Readiness on February 7th, which focuses on what nonprofit leaders need to know before starting a real estate project. Nonprofit Centers Boot Camp is an excellent complement for Real Estate Readiness
