Jackie Cefola
Program Manager, Third Sector New England
Since 2005, Jackie has managed the Nonprofit Center’s mix of organizational learning, professional development and wellness activities. She assisted with the concept, design, development and tenancy of the center’s Shared Space which provides affordable workstations and offices for smaller organizations who co-locate. She is currently working to expand shared purchasing and volunteer management services offered at the center. Before joining Third Sector New England, Jackie managed the consulting services of the Center for Women & Enterprise. She also gained experience as a project manager at Environmental Defense and a manager at Ernst & Young. She holds a MBA and Masters degree in Environmental Management from Yale University.
Peggy Eagan
Executive Director, Children and Family Services Center
Peggy oversees the Children and Family Service Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, a 100,000–square-foot nonprofit center that houses ten nonprofits that serve children and families in the Charlotte area. In this facility, collaboration occurs in the areas of space sharing, technology, back office services, and programming. Peggy has managed local and statewide nonprofits and held several leadership roles in national initiatives. Peggy holds a master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University, was named Woman of the Year by the Indianapolis Star in 1996, and has served on the board of Prevent Child Abuse America.
Dennis McMillan
Executive Director, The Foraker Group
Dennis began his nonprofit career at age ten working with younger kids at church. For twenty-one years he served around the country with United Way before moving to Alaska in 1992 to lead United Way of Anchorage. Dennis has trained thousands of professionals and volunteers, spoken at numerous conferences and consulted across America, Canada, Asia and Russia. In 2000 he helped to found the Foraker Group to build nonprofit capacity. He serves on committees at United Way of America, Council on Foundations and Independent Sector, and serves on the Board of Nature Conservancy and on the national board of Camp Fire, Inc.
