| Description: |
One of the main frameworks driving the concept for Plaza Adelante is to create a community facility that houses five-to-ten organizations that provide direct services to the Mission District and, indirectly, San Francisco’s low-income Spanish-speaking residents. Financial services, asset development, training, childcare and legal services are several of the services that are being prioritized. As a result, this facility would be a one-stop service delivery center where these individuals could have many of their financial, legal, and supportive services met. This will also help the environment by reducing commuting costs and consolidating multiple trips into a single trip for a variety of community services. |
