| Description: |
The David Brower Center, located in downtown Berkeley, will be the hub for the Bay Area�s environmental and progressive communities. A LEED Platinum-rated building, the Brower Center will include conference facilities, three floors of office space, a 180-seat theater, two multi-use meeting & event rooms, an art gallery, and restaurant/caf�. The Center will both meet its tenants� needs for affordable and collaborative workspace, and offer an educational resource and gathering place for the general public. The Brower Center shares its site and is being built in partnership with Oxford Plaza. This project includes 97 units of affordable family housing, which is being developed by Resources for Community Development. |
